Finding Your Cellphone and Laptop Manuals

The biggest problem with laptops and cellphones, and for that matter almost every piece of equipment that I own, is that when I have a question about how to use it. it is almost certain that the manual is not anywhere near me. I never carry the maunals with me, they are wherever I put them when I first got the equipment; put away for safe keeping.

Until recently the answers were either find someone to help or wait until I got back to my office and dug out the manual.  But that is so 20th century. Wouldn't it be nice to just go to a website that had all your manuals available on demand?  Well there is a website now that offers members the ability to find and upload manuals for many products that you own. It is amazing that it took so long for someone to create a website for manuals but the people at ManualsOnline did it.

I looked up several manuals for products that I own and they had 3 out of the 5 that I was looking for information on .  Overall, if members continue to upload their manuals, I think that this is a useful reference library for those of us who either do not have the space, can not find a manual, or want to travel without lugging another ounce.

In addition to getting manuals, members can also get help solving product problems in the User's Forum. The website also creates a personalized homepage that organizes your manuals and keeps track of manuals that you have used in the past.  We are not sure about the legal aspect of electronic copies of manuals that are copyrighted but as a product owner that purchased a product that includes the normal printed manual you should have no problems.
